Harry W. More, a distinguished Professor Emeritus at San Jose State University, boasts an impressive career in the field of criminal justice. Not only has he held the esteemed position of past president for both the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences and the Western Society of Criminology, but he has also made significant contributions to various academic institutions.
More’s expertise has been shared with students at Washington State University, Indiana University of Pennsylvania (where he initiated and led the Criminology program), and San Jose State University (where he served as the Chair of the Department of Administration of Justice and established the Bureau of Administration of Justice).
Beyond academia, More’s experience extends to working with the U.S. Secret Service, engaging in juvenile probation, and providing management training to in-service personnel across California, Ohio, and Oregon. Presently, he holds the esteemed position of President at the Law Enforcement Consulting Group, where he continues to make a profound impact. With an extensive repertoire of scholarly articles and over 40 authored or edited texts, More’s contributions to the field of criminal justice are truly remarkable.
Larry S. Miller
Larry S. Miller holds the esteemed position of Distinguished Professor and Chair of Criminal Justice and Criminology at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). With an impressive academic background, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from ETSU, followed by a Master of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University. Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, Miller achieved his Ph.D. in Health & Safety, specializing in Forensic Anthropology and Criminology, from The University of Tennessee.
