Lost Planet features human snow pirates who pilot Vital Suits (VS) to navigate through dangerous ice-covered terrains, engaging in battles against the native Akrid creatures to obtain the vital thermal energy required for their survival.

Among these pilots is Wayne, who narrowly escapes death and is subsequently rescued, though his memories are fragmented, with only recollections of his father’s demise at the hands of the monstrous beings. Unbeknownst to him, NEVEC has orchestrated a sinister scheme beneath the icy surface. The mystery of Wayne’s past and the intertwining of his fate with NEVEC’s machinations form the crux of the narrative.
