She has been instrumental in leading initiatives that address critical issues affecting Black girls’ mental, sexual, and physical health. Her academic background includes a PhD in sociology from Temple University. Which has provided her with the necessary expertise to conduct groundbreaking research in her field.
Dr. Johnson Dias’ collaborative efforts have not gone unnoticed, as she has received special congressional recognition for her work on Black girls’ health issues. Additionally, she has been awarded grants from prestigious foundations such as the Robert Wood Johnson and Annie E.
