About The Author

I was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in 1956, where my journey as a writer began. Starting with how-to articles on art projects and fictional short stories. My passion for writing grew over the years. In 1991, I published my first full-length book, marking the beginning of my full-time writing career. Since then, I have authored over 23 books for Llewellyn worldwide. Covering a wide range of topics.

Career

Aside from my writing career, I am a wife of 40 years, a mother of 4 grown children, and a grandmother. My work has been recognized by major publications such as the New York Times. The Wall Street Journal, and US News & World Report. I have also been featured in various newspapers, radio programs, and television news spots. As well as PBS and A&E Biography. These experiences have allowed me to share my passion for writing with a wider audience.

In addition to writing, my interests include photography, quilting, candle making, gardening, and creating enchanted spirit dolls like Beboodles and Taco Cat. As the head of the Black Forest Clan, I have witnessed our growth over the past two decades, with clans now established in 20 states, Canada, and Italy. We take pride in our commitment to training excellent clergy and providing strong family support, always seeking a deeper connection to the Spirit. It has been a true blessing to be a part of this journey.
