Author Bently Little:

Bentley Little, a prominent American author, has gained recognition for his extensive collection of horror novels. Interestingly, his journey into the world of horror began just a month after his mother attended the world premiere of the iconic film, Psycho. In 1990, Little made his debut as a novelist with the publication of his first book, titled “The Revelation,” which was released by St. Martin’s Press. This work caught the attention of none other than Stephen King himself, who became an ardent admirer of Little’s writing. Little’s exceptional talent was acknowledged when he received the prestigious Bram Stoker Award for “Best First Novel” in the same year.

Following the success of his initial publication, Little transitioned to the New American Library for his subsequent two novels. However, his collaboration with the company came to an abrupt end when he declined to write a police procedural for his next project. Despite this setback, Little eventually reunited with the New American Library, which continues to be his publishing partner to this day.

It is worth noting that Little has consistently emphasized his identification as a horror novelist. He firmly believes that his writing falls within the horror genre, rather than being classified as “suspense” or “dark fantasy.” Little’s dedication to the horror genre is evident in his unwavering support for horror fiction, and he has even been described as a devoted follower of the renowned author Stephen King.
