Established in 2014, this bakery specializes in crafting delectable sweet and savory pies, quiches, and tarts. However, Justice of the Pies is more than just a bakery; it is a heartfelt tribute to Maya-Camille’s late father, Stephen J. Broussard. Stephen, a criminal defense attorney, possessed an unwavering passion for anything encased in a crust. In honor of his memory and his belief in second chances, Maya-Camille founded Justice of the Pies to celebrate his love for pies and to spread joy through her culinary creations.

Driven by her desire to make a difference, Maya-Camille established the I KNEAD LOVE Workshop. This remarkable program aims to combat food insecurities faced by young individuals in grades 5th-8th, particularly those residing in lower-income communities with limited access to nutritious food options. Through this culinary enrichment program, students are empowered with valuable kitchen skills, encouraged to tap into their creativity, and educated about the significance of proper nutrition. By equipping these youths with the tools and knowledge they need, Maya-Camille strives to contribute to the fight against food insecurities and create a brighter future for these aspiring chefs.
